Highland Panoramas

Preview

Below are a selection of mini panormas of Kyle Rhea, Riverfoot, Glenelg and the Sound of Sleat in the highlands of Scotland. All of them are only a fraction of the size of the full size panorama on the site and typically each one is only showing a portion of the full panorama.

This web page is intended to provide a search engine friendly preview of a small sample of the panoramas on this web site.

The tiny remote village of Kylrhea on Skye on the shore of the Sound of Sleat. This is the closest Skye gets to the mainland. A car ferry operates during the tourist season.

This is a view of the Kyle Rhea lighthouse from the otter hide. We've seen many otters around this area but none near the otter hide. On all occasions we weren't actively looking for them.

Back on the mainland we visit the ever growing village of Glenelg and see the Bernera Barracks (shot from Riverfoot). There are also some photos of Dun Troddan Broch and Dun Telve Broch in Glen Beag (not shown here).
