Highland Panoramas

Preview

Below are a selection of mini panormas of Eilean Donan Castle, Dornie, Balmacara and Ardintoul in the highlands of Scotland. All of them are only a fraction of the size of the full size panorama on the site and typically each one is only showing a portion of the full panorama.

This web page is intended to provide a search engine friendly preview of a small sample of the panoramas on this web site.

Panoramas of the famous and ever popular Eilean Donan Castle just on the shore beside the village of Dornie.
Eilean Donan
Eilean Donan
Probably one of the most famous castles in Scotland. You've got to be very lucky to see it at high tide when the sun is shining and the loch is this still.

Eilean Donan Castle is probably one of the top tourist atractions in Scotland. But most tourists don't see it like this.

Ardintoul Bay
Ardintoul Bay
The view from the tiny remote village of Ardintoul on the south side of Loch Alsh. This village is so remote that the only road to it is 5 miles of forest track and you just know that they don't have a tourist problem.

Back on the north side of the loch - a few photos of Loch Alsh from Balmacara hill. Here we can see the village of Reraig and a view down the Sound of Sleat which separates Skye from the mainland. We can also see the Skye bridge at Kyle of Lochalsh.
